McCall/Cascade Trip

My husband and I were asked to speak up at a little thing in Cascade Idaho, right by McCall. It in my opinion is some of the most scenic and gorgeous landscape in Idaho. the area was in a flash flood warning and it was just pouring rain and fog everywhere, it made for some great pics, but dangerous driving! We will be returning to the area for a family reunion later this month and I am excited to go back! Enjoy....

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I was driving through Eagle, Id and saw a park with hundreds of flags, each with a tag for those that have given their lives for the freedoms of our countries. I had to stop and snap a few, I love when I have my camera at the right time :)
Thank you to all those that have come before us!

Jeff Bball Senior Pics

As some of you know I am a BIG fan of basketball, it is a love of force. Having three brothers and a Father that loved and played the sport I grew to love it. I had so much fun with Jeff shooting around his high school. His mom did not want him to leave without having some senior pics of him playing the sport he loves! Thanks Jeff, Korey, and Jordan it was fun!

Thomas Kids

I think that blonde headed babies are the best! A lady I know from church has six blonde children and each one is so cute and full of personality! I brought my camera with me on a visit to photograph the newest who is not yet a month old and could not help but grab some pictures of the others! I did not get the chance to take pictures of all of them but I think we are all going to have a cookie date at my house soon and I will be sure to whip out my camera then too! Thanks Kelly for the fun shoot this afternoon, your kids are darling!

Cheyenne and Alex Serra

Cheyenne and Alex Serra are one of the sweetest couples I have met! They have known each other since they were little and are getting married the end of March! I wish them both the best. Here is a little preview of some of my favorites from their session. There were so many good ones because they are such photogenic people! Thanks you two for bearing the cold and being troopers!

Basketball

Three months out of the year is dedicated to Basketball in my family. I have three younger brothers all of whom play basically year round. But from December to February is the main season. We average about four games a week each about two hours long and I love it! I have taken my camera to several games now and here are some of my favorites! I have a huge respect for sports photographers, it is not easy, you set up your camera for the perfect shot either it does not come or else you missed it already! I am sure it takes lots of practice!

Jeff Slonaker extremely intense and a good ball handler.

Each of the upper teams has 3 ball boys in charge of filling water bottles and folding up the warm ups :) They are the "cute" part of the team.

This is swagger in action :)

I love this shot, the guys get down as a team after warming up, its a tradition.

Shaw Boys

Jameson, Braiden, and Caleb I had such a great time taking their pictures! What fun boys! I feel so bad we had a time scheduled and about ten minutes into the session it started to snow, we had to breaks every so often and let them warm up inside, but the snow in the background made for some great shots, but rosy cheeks and runny noses and a couple of snowball fights as well ;). I had a blast and will cherish these forever!

Home Sweet Home

In my search and discovery of Emmett I found what I think to be a hidden treasure of Idaho. It is a little antique store off of main street just past washington. It is run by a lady named Amy who has a winners eye for antiques and displays all of her stuff in the most unique and pleasing ways it is fun just to browse around. I have done so on multiple occasions and had to bring my camera along as well! She has several themed rooms and my favorite is the girl room, it is light with a glow of pink, there are more shades of pink that you can imagine on gloves, 20's hats, cushions, lace, fringe, and ever girl thing you can imagine. It is beautiful! Below are some of the pictures of my favorite pieces I hope you all enjoy and take the chance to go check this shop out! It is worth the travel!
